The XII Lithuanian World Sports Games will bring together Lithuanian amateur athletes from all over the world from 3 to 6 July 2025. For the first time, the National Sports Agency will be entrusted with organizing the games. The Lithuanian sports event with an old and deep tradition will be held in Palanga.
The World Lithuanian Sports Games (WLS) have been held since 1978. The decision to hold the games was made on November 20, 1976 by the convention of the Lithuanian Physical Education and Sports Association of North America (ŠALFASS). The goal of the games is to activate the sports activities of Lithuanians all over the world and to support Lithuanian identity. The emblem of the World Lithuanian Sports Games was created by Toronto graphic artist T. Valius.
